Butchers Choice Competition
The Butchers Choice Competition
The Butchers Choice Competition takes place at the Brisbane Royal Show (11-20 August 2005). The popular competition is held the first Saturday of the show, and it enables butchers to express their creative side and experiment with new and exciting dishes. The judges have a great time adjudicating tasty treats. This competition is open to AMIC members only.

Display Prize Ribbons to attract store attention:
Place getters and category winners receive RNA Ribbons
First prize winner in each category receives a plaque
Benefit from publicity generated by the event
A marketing kit is available to assist winners and place-getters with business promotion
Awards will be presented at the Royal Show. The winner's product is left on display throughout the duration of the show.
Categories
The competition has two categories:
Meat Pie or Meat Pastry Product
A product that can be heated or cooked via the means of an oven. For example, Meat Pie and Beef Wellington.
Wet Meat Dish
A product that can be heated or cooked via stovetop. For example, Curry and Goulash.
All entires must be pre-cooked. They will be re-heated on the day of the competition.
