Important in delivering this operations plan and the cultural change necessary to its success, is a mission statement and a set of operational values that identifies what we are trying to achieve and how we are going to go about achieving it.

This will be a litmus test that we should apply to all activities.

 

Operating Values

We have developed a set of operational values that apply to everyday staff activities and identify that this business is different to other components of AMIC's operation. The principal values will include: Trust Candor Responsibility Transparency Accountability Teamwork Initiative Confidentiality Credit Commercial Values StatementOfficers will operate in an environment of trust in delivering the agreed policy. They have the responsibility to undertake the agreed tasks and are accountable for the outcomes. We want to encourage initiative and where that initiative delivers positive outcomes give credit. Where that initiative fails for whatever reason, that through a transparent process we address what has gone wrong and learn from the experience and go forward as part of a team. In dealing with individual member business we need to be always conscious of confidentiality. Any outcome from AMIC activities ultimately should have a commercial objective.
