National Trade Show 2007 Gold Coast 1 June - 3 June


The Australian Meat Industry Council will conduct the National Trade Show at Conrad Jupiters on the Gold Coast on June 2 and 3. AMIC has made several changes to the format of this year’s show and these are intended to create the opportunity for more Independent Local Butchers to attend and avail themselves of the information, products and services offered by our valued exhibitors.
	In summary these changes are: The Trade Show will be held in conjunction with the inaugural National Retail Conference. See the webpage for the Conference Program, from it you will see the regular opportunities to visit the Trade Show which will be adjacent to the Conference area. The Trade Show will be over two days to permit more people to attend. This has been a regular request from AMIC members and some of our exhibitors. This is the first time the Trade Show has been taken to Queensland and the indications are that it will be well patronized at the Gold Coast with many members taking the opportunity to take a well earned break.
The Trade Show has been taken to an up market venue where there will be a wider public interest. Although the major focus will be in the Independent Local Butchers the wider food industry will be encouraged to attend. Exhibitors are invited to book a table or individual seating at the Conference Dinner on Saturday evening (cost $195 per person) and the Breakfast with the Butchers on Sunday morning (cost $50 per person). Seats are limited for these events and early bookings are recommended. Of course, the National Trade Show will feature the latest in equipment for the Independent Local Butchers of Australia.
The cost of a 3m X 2m stand will be $760 (incl GST) for the two days. Access will be available on Friday 1 June and all stands must be vacated on Sunday evening 3 June.
