Oven Ready - Products and meat products that need no additional preparation before being cooked.
Ready-prepared Meals - Complete meals that consist of all the aspects of a meal, meat, vegetable, carbohydrate, and need no additional preparation.
Sausage Specialist - Many butchers pride themselves on their sausages, creating varieties across all meat types.
Gourmet Sausages - As well as the traditional and Australian sausage varieties, many butchers use gourmet ingredients with the meat to combine intense and different types of flavours.
Gourmet Pies - As well as traditional variety of pies, some butchers create gourmet pies using ingredients that are considered unusual or special, to bring out the flavour of the meat.
Phone/Fax Orders - If a customer wants a large or complicated order filled with minimum fuss, some butchers can take orders over the phone or by fax.
Home Delivery - Some butchers can deliver orders to customers so that customers who lack transport, or find it difficult to get to the butcher, can still use their ILB.

Spit Hire - As well as providing the roast for a spit, some butchers offer to hire customers the spit so the meat and cooking equipment can be collected in one place.
Vacuum Packing Service - Preserves meat for longer due to lack of air, reduces need for refrigeration, also removes risk of leakage. Useful for big orders that customers may want to freeze. Also useful for customers who are camping, hiking etc.
Award Winner - Various competitions are held every year in a variety of categories that determine which butcher has the best sausage/shop/steak/apprentice etc. These competitions are both run by AMIC and by food associated industries. To become an award winner is a prestigious title.
Community Supporter - As butchers are supported by the community they live in, many butchers like to give back but donation of money, time and/or products. Many support charities, foundations, sports teams, schools etc.
Catering - Some butchers can fill orders to caterers or large customer requests.
Trade Sales - Butchers who provide meat to the restaurant and catering trade.
Restaurant Supplies - Butchers can stipulate that they work closely with restaurants to provide the best meat varieties.
Club Supplies - Butchers who provide meat to RSLs and other member clubs.
