AMIC publishes detailed information on many HR and IR topics which is available to Members only through a secure log-in process. An overview of what is available is presented below.

Wage Tables

This section details AMIC published Wages Sheets for each state/territory differentiating between Corporate entities (Pty Ltds) and Sole Traders and Partnerships where applicable.

Fair Work Act
This section includes an overview of the Act, its Core Items, Minimum Wage Decisions, Dismissals and Terminations provisions, Wages Records and Payslip requirements, Fair Work Information Statement and how the FWA 2009 applies in each state.


OH&S and Workers Compensation Database

This section gives access to AMIC's database of material published by AMIC, Regulators and others on many topics within the OH&S and Workers Compensation arena.


National Employment Standards (NES)

This section gives an overview of the NES, access to a full copy of the NES, Fair Work Information Statement and how the NES applies in each state/territory.


Meat Industry Award 2010 (MIA 2010)

This section gives an overview of the MIA 2010, Outline of Key Clauses, Copy of the Award, Amendments to the Award, National Training Wages provisions, Allowances, Casual Loading and how the MIA 2010 applies in each state/territory.

Wages Rates Phase-in Transitional Issues
This section details AMIC published Wages Sheets for each state/territory differentiating between Corporate entities (Pty Ltds), Sole Traders and Partnerships where applicable.

 
Casual Loading

The Casual Loading is 25% in all modern awards, but with phase in arrangements commencing 1 July 2010. This section details those arrangements for each state/territory.

Public holidays and applicable penalty rates are published shortly before forthcoming holidays and are detailed here.


Apprenticeship Information

This section includes details regarding employment of apprentices and incentives available.
